This Earth Day 2020 commemoration brings attention to Earth's diseases because day by day the world's environmental conditions are getting worse. When on the one hand global emissions continue to destroy human nature, on the other hand new voices increase to bring a new wave of revolution to the Earth. Quoted by newsd page, the destruction of the Earth leads to absolute time to form solutions with broad changes. Here are some of the most interesting and worrying facts about Earth that have been studied:
1. Today's younger generations face a dire climate in the future Teenagers under the age group of 18 years are really going to be shaken by the current climatic conditions. The current trajectory situation will later warm the planet by 4 degrees Celsius by 2100, such temperatures will destroy the world with disasters such as drought, disease and food shortages. Earlier last month, students in 120 countries went on strike to demand tough action on climate change. The revolutionary offensive has become part of the youth-led climate activism movement.
2. Increasing plastic in the environment Large amounts of plastic have been found in several places in the waters causing the disturbance of aquatic life from marine animals. Large mountains of non-biodegradable waste flow into the oceans, where it breaks down into small pieces and accumulates in all marine creatures. Of such a large amount, only 9 percent of plastics can be recycled. Even that tiny shard was now under an alarming threat.
3. Life is much harder than thought Have you thought about the average mass of all the animals and plants on earth? Maybe not, but some brilliant scientists are doing fantastic research because they have calculated that even the smallest creatures on earth have the greatest weight. For example, the mass of a single bacterium is 1,100 times the mass of all humans. However, it is a matter of fact that human activities such as hunting, deforestation and others have dramatically reduced the mass of life on Earth.
4. 90 species of frogs became extinct due to climate change Frogs are a sentinel species that are sensitive to various changes in their environment, such as temperature, rainfall, and habitat loss. These species play an important role as predators as well as prey in their habitat. Reportedly, this year a total of 90 species of frogs have become extinct due to uneven climate change and forced 124 other species to decline by more than 90 percent.
5. Wildlife disappears, appears, and evolves In the wild where several species have disappeared, thousands of new species have been discovered that serve as a reminder that humans still have the opportunity to develop all nuances of life on Earth. Perhaps this could have been more difficult if environmental conditions had not changed, as turtles experienced dramatic changes in their sex ratios after a sharp rise in temperature. As species respond to the rapid changes it causes in their environment, and witnesses new hybrids emerge.
6. More than a decade left for global warming to pass According to the world's best scientists, only a few decades are left to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius. The only solution to get rid of this catastrophic situation is to cut global greenhouse gas emissions. The world community must have to reach zero emissions by 2050 and must even start reducing the amount of carbon dioxide in the new atmosphere in order to achieve its stated goals. Otherwise, the windows will close to 1.5 degrees Celsius and humans will lock themselves in the hot atmosphere. This fact is important for people around the world to wake up and adopt baby steps. Its purpose is to arouse interest and reflect on the complexities that humans have harmfully created. Earth society, must set a strong precedent on which future generations can stand up easily and to deal with this problem. And it must reduce problems like increasing global emissions, rising sea levels and many more to become a permanent solution.
